#6 Marios Lazarou
Hello everyone,
My name is Marios, I am 25 years old and I am a second-year medical student. I already hold a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and I am involved with research at the UMCG where we try to see how live music can help patients who have undergone surgery.
Our world is going through a transitioning period and our lives have changed drastically over the past two years. It is in our hands to guide our community in the right direction.
Over the next year I would like to work closely with you, my fellow students, as a representative of the UCMG in order to improve your overall well being. My main focus is on mental health. I would like to promote novel approaches to student stress management such as group sessions.
Secondly, I know how difficult it can be for new students to adapt to a university environment therefore this year I am also focusing on extracurricular activities where students can get together, exchange ideas and flourish in their creative endeavours.
You can find me most of the time at the Medical faculty or the UB so feel free to come and talk to me about ideas, complaints and improvements.
